Is it possible that we all live on after we die, irrespective of our beliefs, our religion, our achievements or our moral behaviour? Do our personalities survive in a kind of ‘halfway house’ on the way to greater things? Experiential knowledge of these matters has been provided by many recorded cases of Near Death Experiences, other Out-of-body experiences and ‘readings’ by psychic mediums. In compiling this record of ‘experiential knowledge’ of the Afterlife the author has drawn on sources ranging from academic research experiments to the direct, personal experiences of his friends, his acquaintances and himself.

A remarkably consistent picture emerges that we will certainly have a kind of ‘spiritual body’ after we die, in which our real selves, our personalities and our memories will live on. There are a series of areas through which our spirits can continue to develop and grow in love and wisdom. Loving attachments in this world will also continue into the afterlife.

However, no one needs to feel they have to experience communication from the ‘dead’ or have a Near Death Experience in order to benefit from experiential knowledge because these conclusions have been drawn on the basis of verifiable evidence. If we are open minded this knowledge can radically change our outlook on life and death.

Perhaps the greatest benefit of ‘A Lodging along the Way’ will be to help those who have had paranormal experiences to reconcile their experiences with their prior, religious beliefs.
